A federal appeals court Monday reinstated part of a sex discrimination lawsuit filed by a Lafayette College administrator, citing last year's U.S. Supreme Court ruling that expanded protections of Title IX, the landmark gender-equity law. Eve Atkinson, said she was fired in 2001 because of her gender and because she criticized the college for failing to support men's and women's sports equally.
