PEORIA – A federal judge approved a settlement in a civil rights lawsuit against a Champaign restaurant in favor of five protestors against Chief Illiniwek. Court records show that in a hearing in U.S. District Court in Peoria on May 14, Judge John A. Gorman approved the settlement of $22,500 payment by Phil Katsinas to the plaintiffs.
