Settlement could affect DP&L lawsuit (Dayton Daily News)

DAYTON — A landmark $4.6 billion settlement between Columbus-based American Electric Company and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, eight states and 14 environmental organizations could set a precedent for similar pending cases, including one lawsuit naming Dayton Power and Light, according to the Natural Resources Defense Council, a nonprofit claimant in the case.
