A lawsuit against the city over a previous city council’s decision to award a favorable lease to a private hangar and air services company appears to have backfired, with the plaintiff, D2 Aero, being ordered to pay almost $85,000 in attorney’s fees and court costs to both the city and Havasu Air Center, which was also named in the suit.
